APPLICATION:

To determine the compressive strength of the cement mortar grout

CONSTRUCTION DETAILS:

• Designed to test the portion of 40*40*160 prism broken in flexure
• Robust frame fitted with an upper platen (incorporated within the lower platen) with spherical seat that moves vertically sustained by a spring.
• The upper platen receives the load from compression testing machine through an intermediate spherical seating.
• The apparatus has to be placed and centered directly on the lower machine platen of
• CTM. The total height is 195 mm.
• Vertical clearance of the compression machine can be adjusted using suitable distance pieces accordingly.
